here it is folks, the St Catharines Game & Fish Association is proud to present its 38th annual Spring Salmon Derby!
Some brief hilights:
We have started this years derby a week earlier and are going a week later then last year.
Everyone who buys a ticket, is entered in a draw for a Scotty HP2116 Downrigger.
Boat tickets are available! And yes the "captain" may use it as a "single" ticket if fishing with friends aboard another boat, but of course everyone on that boat must have their own ticket as well.
Yes your allowed to enter the same fish in another derby or tournament provided all rules are followed
Tickets will be available for sale soon at our regular outlets!

We have some returning and new sponsors on board. Those prize packages from 4th-7th places are LOADED with various gift certificates & tackle items.

Finally we are "thrilled" to have Captain Vince Pierleoni of Thrillseeker Sportfishing as our guest speaker at our next meeting on Monday March 25 @ 730pm. this meeting will be held at the Port Dalhousie Legion (west side of the harbour) Vince will be getting us primed for the upcoming season by discussing some of the latest trends & techniques he has discovered recently as well as a short Q&A session. We will be selling derby tickets, launch ramp passes & club memberships as well.
We will also be bringing back a summer "Members Derby" and details for that will be released when they are finalized.
