Spiel takes the Farmer Fishing

[Spiel]

We left Fisherman's Pier last Friday evening and headed east, hoping to catch a few fish. Trolled towards Bronte, just west of the Shell pier my rod went off, first fish in the box. Shortly after, bam Dave's went of with a Tumored Rainbow, back overboard it went. Then I got into another fish, in the box. I had my old standby lure on one I've had for years, Then BAM! BIG Rainbow up out of the water a few times and "SNAP" my old stand by was gone. Must have been a nick in the line because not to much pressure was put on the fish, drag was set lite. What a disappointment, Big over 10 plus Rainbow gone and my favorite lure. We ended the night with 5 small eater fish for the smoker. Can't wait to get back out again.

You're right Serge, goes everywhere with me.

Loves the boat and I think when Dave took that picture she was thanking me for getting her out of the house and on the water.

Actually no Wally, I didn't eat 'em.
I kept four small fish for a friend who gave me a mess of moose meat for them. Good trade I'd say. ;D
