I just heard of the club today and thought I should put my name in. Maybe we can share some fishing stories or go fishing together, I'm always ready to go fishing.
I was up in the Soo last week, and we spent a day on an inland lake NE of the Soo fishing for Specks. Anyone out there fish Specks ? Does anyone fling a fly ? We ( 3 of us ) caught 12 between 12 and 21 inches. I also brought to shore the biggest Brookie I've ever been face to face with, probably 4-5 lbs. Lost it at the net, damn.
Also wondering if anyone fishes around the harbor here in Hamilton and can tell me anything. I've found 1 spot in Cootes where I catch a few Bowfin and Channel Cats up to 12 lbs. Lots of fun. Comments ?
