Just got back from fishing four days up at Lake Temagami with my son and nephew. We managed 6 trout,2 whitefish and 11 ling for the weekend. The weather was brutal up there with two days in the -40's. The Saturday we had 70k winds with a windchill of -47degrees.The winds were so strong that the snow was coming through the cracks in the hut.I slept in my floatation suit inside my sleeping bag that night. We woke up in the morning and our water, the minnow pails and even the beer was frozen LOL.The sad part was that the trout were all caught before the season opened on the Sunday. But I would do it all over again if given the chance. Pictures of my son Adam and his catch of the day. Read more: ifish365.proboards.com/thread/5563/lake-temagami-freeze#ixzz3S9HQkdYS

Way to go Serge, at least you guys are getting out and getting some fish. I wish I could say the same. With this stupid cold and sitting behind the key board you can't catch fish .

Best to get yourself one of those video games and catch the big one at home.
