I'm posting this for my buddy Scotty McDonald who is a member on this board.He caught this perch on day one of the Canadian Ice Fishing Championship on Simcoe last Saturday.To bad day one was cancelled, he might have been into some prize money.   |

They canceled the first day, I think I would have been questioning that. That doesn't seam right. You had a winning fish.
Why did they cancel Serge? That sure looks like a winner. Nice fish Scotty.

The first day was cancelled because of the weather. The guys were pissed because it wasn't that bad and most of them even went out and fished that day anyway. Apparently the woman that runs the tournament has never even ice fished before.Day two there were only four teams that caught a fish and the top Fifteen prizes got a money payout, so they drew numbers for the rest of the prizes.That got screwed up somehow and there weren't to many happy campers by the end of the night. Fishing ended at 2pm by the time it was finished Scotty didn't get home until 10:30 that night.

Sounds like another good derby going south.  I think they would have heard me.  Scotty must have been pissed. |
